Done Right

As an organization we stand behind all our products and services. We take the time to thoroughly outline the project from the onset, addressing all issues and challenges. We then go above and beyond to ensure all our solutions meet the most rigorous operating conditions and environments.

It’s about putting in the preparation and always following through so we get the job done right the first time.

INDUSTRIAL NOISE CURTAINS

At MERLIN one of our most cost-effective and popular solutions for excess noise is the installation of Industrial Noise Curtains. Sound Curtains offer maximum sound control and noise reduction using a combination of sound absorption and noise barrier material. Sound curtains are used in many industrial, commercial, and OEM noise control applications.  The system can accommodate ventilation and access while maintaining high noise control.

Typical Applications for Sound Curtains

  • Compressor noise control
  • Hydraulic pump enclosures
  • Outdoor sound blanket applications
  • Small enclosures with steel frames
  • PD blower sound curtain partitions
  • Metal compressor buildings
HOW SOUND CURTAINS WORK

Sound curtains form a flexible barrier between sources of noise and working spaces. They work on the principles of absorption and redirection. The shape of that barrier affects how waves behave. The quilting on vinyl-coated noise curtains forms multiple curved surfaces that redirect sound waves. As they bounce off the vinyl surfaces, sound waves lose their coherence and are rendered harmless.

FLEXIBILITY

Sound curtains differ from permanent noise-reduction installations in their flexibility. While they can be used as a permanent solution for noise reduction, industrial noise curtains can also be moved where they are.
